1 - Painting with Fire ~ Paint fiery sunsets with the full colour spectrum of the rainbow. Learn easy ways to mix your paint on and off the canvas to allow for a more intuitive “rule free” flow. Easy blending of warm colours and cool colours with some fun easy painters tricks along the way to capture light, water and horizons.

2 - Painting with Earth ~ Painting in intuitive abstract and deliciously textured layers. Building your painting like the layers of the earth to create mystery, depth, beauty and wonder.

3 - Painting with Water ~ Painting layered mist within layers of mountains and trees in a loose and free manner to capture drama, emotion and energy in your work. Add texture and gold leaf accents.

4 - Painting with Air ~ Connecting with and Painting with the Breath of Life. Adding distance and layered perspective using the colours of the wind and air, cosmic etheric clouds livened by moonlight and starlight. Using colour to convey your message and metaphor to share your souls meaning.

Linzy Arnott

is an international, published, award winning, self taught artist who has been represented in galleries since she was 16 and has been a full time artist since 2011, creating and selling over two thousand paintings. Linzy discovered early in life that the power of art held a depth and level of self expression that far outweighed what she could express through words. A life defining moment in an art museum in DC at 19years old, Linzy became keenly aware that the intention and energy poured into a painting was even more powerful than what a painting looked like, and that this intention could literally touch and heal hearts as it did for her that day. Linzy has been on a soul searching mission since then that has led her to Peru and all around North America, to learn from healers, shamans and mystics, to learn about the power of energy and intention and how to channel pure inspiration into physical form, to create a bridge between the worlds of magic and matter.

~ Acrylic Paint: Linzy will be demonstrating with Liquitex Basics Acrylic. You can use this brand or any acrylic brand that calls to you: Titanium White, Unbleached Titanium, Silver, Gold, Alizarin Crimson Hue, Primary Red, Primary Yellow, Bright Aqua Green, Hooker's Green Hue Permanent, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Light Blue Permanent, Violet, Dioxazine Purple, Burnt Umber, Raw Sienna, Mars Black and any other colours that call to you.

~ Gold Leaf

~ Modeling Paste Gel Medium (Liquitex or other brand) 237ml

~ 4 Canvases 16x20 inches or larger

~Pallet knife and Paint Brushes: a 3inch pallet knife and soft synthetic paintbrushes (student grade is perfect). If you are painting larger than 16x20, make sure you have at least one paintbrush that is 1.5-2inches wide (filbert or flat style). A teeny tiny brush for intricate gold leaf, and a handful of sizes in between both flat and round (filbert) shape.  

Optional materials: painters tape, ruler, pencil
