This is not just a painting class, but a Soul Journey into your sacred heart, to activate your Creative Essence and paint a Soul-Self portrait of your Inner Divine. This feels so important right now, so vital that we remember who we really are, how powerful and magical we are, so we may serve fully from our hearts and BE the change we are here to create together. To show up embodied in our full purpose, passion and mission. To receive the vision of who we truly are, who we came here to be, and anchor that in through the powerful creative practice of painting.

Together we will journey to the depths of our I Am Presence. Awakening the Artist and giving Her permission to play - all while learning to mix and blend the beautiful rainbow of skin tones, conjure and pour your own witchy brew of acrylic elixirs, add meaningful metaphorical elements into your paintings, create a portrait sketch from scratch and take it through to a complete magical masterpiece! Using guided mediation and creative ritual to surrender into the flow of creation (to get out of your own way!) and allow your True Inner Artist the freedom and space to Create.

Painting your own Divine Self portrait is a deeply healing experience. You will complete the course with a finished masterpiece and souls message from your Highest Self, to serve as a beacon of light on your journey - a gentle reminder of the magical creative Being that you truly are.

8 week online acrylic soul-portrait painting course
Learn to paint soul portraits and complete a masterpiece of your own Divine Essence

8 week Soul Journey of self discovery and creation of your very own Divine Essence portrait. During this journey you will be gently guided through calling in and receiving a vision of your Divine Essence through meditation, creativity practices and dream casting. You will receive your soul colour(s), sacred symbols to incorporate into your masterpiece and paint your own Soul-Self portrait.

You will learn to paint realistic portraits using the full rainbow of skin tones. Completing a powerful final masterpiece using gold leaf, texture, and acrylic pouring (Linzy’s “rule breaking” style). You will complete the course with a full completed self portrait to hang in your space to serve as a reminder of who you really are.

PLEASE NOTE: Although this course contains intermediate/advanced level techniques, it is broken down into simple easy to follow step by step creative guidance. Even if you have never painted before, don’t worry, you will be guided every step of the way!

Class 1 - Opening Ceremony - Elements of a portrait in acrylic ~ Composition for free-flow painting by breaking down the elements of a portrait with blending practices.

Class 2 - Portraits in Colour ~ Mixing and painting the rainbow of skin tones using only 3 colours. Drawing facial proportions. Painting front profile with no reference.

Class 3 - Portraits in Colour ~ Mixing colour and painting the rainbow of skin tones, acrylic blending practices & blending in layers. Painting side profile with a reference.

Class 4 - Composition & Elements ~ Adding magical elements to complete your Soul Portrait: gold leaf, acrylic pouring (Linzy style), adding texture, colour and symbolism.

Class 5 - Painting the Windows of the Soul ~ painting detailed realistic eyes with reflections. Painting freckles, hair and facial features.

Class 6 - LIVE Open Studio - Receiving the Vision & Composing your Divine Essence Masterpiece & Open Studio. Connect with your Divine Essence, receive your soul colour(s) and power symbol. Calling in the vision of your Highest Self and creating your own Essence Portrait from sketch to finished masterpiece. Recording. BONUS Masterclass painting animals realistically easy.

Class 7 - LIVE Open Studio

LINZY ARNOTT

is an international, published, award winning, self taught artist who has been represented in galleries since she was 16 and has been a full time artist since 2011, creating and selling over 2,000 paintings. Linzy discovered early in life that the power of art held a depth and level of self expression that far outweighed what she could express through words. During a life defining moment in an art museum in DC at 19years old, Linzy became keenly aware that the intention and energy poured into a painting was even more powerful than what a painting looked like, and that this intention could literally touch and heal hearts as it did for her that day. Linzy has been on a soul searching mission since then that has led her to Peru and around North America, to learn from healers, shamans and mystics. To learn about the power of energy and intention and how to channel pure inspiration into physical form, to create a bridge between the worlds of magic and matter.

Over the last 5 years Linzy has been deeply inspired by the visions in her dreams of the Rising Divine Feminine. Immersing herself in women’s mysteries, ancestral and personal healing that has opened a new level of creativity. Linzy has found great joy in painting the Divine in Her many faces and forms. Materials

~ Acrylic Paint: Linzy will be demonstrating with Liquitex Basics Acrylic as shown above. You can use this brand or any acrylic brand that calls to you. Colour suggestions: Titanium White, Unbleached Titanium, Silver, Gold, Alizarin Crimson Hue, Primary Red, Primary Yellow, Bright Aqua Green, Hooker's Green Hue Permanent, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Light Blue Permanent, Violet, Dioxazine Purple, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Raw Sienna, Mars Black and any other colours that call to you.

~ Gold Leaf and Metallic Leaf Adhesive Size

~ Modeling Paste Gel Medium Liquitex or other brand 237ml

~ 4 canvases for portrait practice. Linzy will be demonstrating on 3 16x20 inch canvases and one 10x20inch canvas - however any size you choose will work just fine!

~ A large canvas for your final masterpiece (30x30 or 24x30inches recommended)

~Pallet knife and Paint Brushes: a 3inch pallet knife and soft synthetic paintbrushes (student grade is perfect). A large 1.5 inch wide (filbert or flat style) brush. A teeny tiny brush for fine details, and a handful of sizes in between both flat and round (filbert) shape. You will receive photos and more details about materials upon registration.

~Pad/sketchbook of canvas paper or watercolour paper for your acrylic portrait skin tones practices
